Hou Ji Ling Capsules produced by Guangzhou Chenliji Pharmaceutical Factory (Chenliji) was selected as an emergency drug for treatment of the coronavirus infection. Employees of Chenliji cancelled their vacation, and worked overtime to produce the medicine.
Kegan Liyan Oral Liquid produced by Wanglaoji became a drug candidate used by medical institutions in Guangdong for the epidemic prevention and control. In order to ensure its supply, Wanglaoji even ran its plant during the Spring Festival holiday.
Since Banlangen Granules produced by Hutchison Whampoa Guangzhou Baiyunshan Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. (HGB) is one of the key drugs in the fight against the epidemic, HGB’s employees worked overtime to produce this product. The first batch of Banlangen Granules has already been delivered to hospitals, drugstores, and stations in coronavirus-stricken areas.
Caizhilin Pharmacy distributed coronavirus medicines to its drugstores overnight, and promised that all relevant medicines and items would be sold at the usual price.

Mingxing’s frontline workers worked overtime to produce medicines during the Spring Festival holiday.
Guangzhou Huacheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Huacheng) delivered a batch of emergency drugs to Wuhan. On January 31st, the company transported another batch of antiviral drugs to Wuhan by car.
With the help of the Guangdong branch of the Red Cross Society of China, GPHL has donated 12 million RMB worth of urgently needed items, such as drugs and protective equipment, to Hubei and Guangdong, three million RMB worth of antiviral drugs to the Tongji Hospital and the Union Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of HUST, and 300,000 RMB worth of drugs to Macao SAR.
The designated drugstores of GPHL’s subsidiaries – Jianmin Pharmacy, Caizhilin, and Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals Pharmacy Co., Ltd. – provided free home delivery services, and delivered free face masks to Guangzhou residents who placed the orders via the mini-program ‘Sui Kang’ on WeChat.
GPHL’s subsidiary Haima Advertising printed thousands of the Handbook on Novel Coronavirus Infection Prevention and Control. On February 2nd, these handbooks were made available at the entrances of communities, and next to the bulletin boards and cashier desks of drugstores, and distributed by employees on site.
On January 27th, GPHL donated 12 million RMB worth of urgently needed items, such as drugs and protective equipment, to Hubei and Guangdong via the Guangdong branch of the Red Cross Society of China (“Guangdong Red Cross”). On behalf of the group, GPHL Chairman Li Chuyuan delivered the donations to Mr. Shi Xiandong, vice-chairman of the Standing Council of the Guangdong Red Cross, and Mr. Shi presented the donator with a thank-you plaque.
